Small Fragment
The Small Fragment System from Auxein offers set of instruments, coupled with existing standard and anatomic implants with the flexibility and benefits to support small fragment procedures. The system combines traditional and advanced plating in one system offering locking and non locking screw options with enhanced technology. The locking plates feature two distinct hole designs that provide torsional and axial collapse acting as an effective aid to fracture reduction serving an intended purpose without affecting performance.
The system comprises standard instrumentation set, making AV-Wiselock Small Fragment System easy to use for treating various small fragments indications including humerus, clavicle, elbow, foot, ankle and tibia.

- The AV-Wiselock small fragment plates are pre-contoured to fit patient’s anatomy.

- The plates feature AV-Wiselock holes, with or without the dynamic compression portion.
- Threaded holes for locking screw option
- 2 – 20 holes
- The system include the 2.7mm AV-Wiselock Screw, 3.5 mm locking screws and 3.5mm AV-Wiselock screws for Plate fixation
- Locking screws create a fixed-angle construct, with up to 15° off-nominal axis screw angulation (variable angulation within a 30° cone of angulation)
- Color coded screws and instruments designed to easily identify screw diameter, screw type and corresponding instrumentation.
