Buttonfix-W One Fixation Buttons
- BUTTONFIX®-W kit comprises of one oblong shaped fixation titanium button, preloaded with Fiber Loop USP size 2.
- This system supports and maintains the thumb and index metacarpals in proper alignment after trapezial resection or removal for treatment of CMC arthritis and thumb CMC instability.
- This system requires a minimal 1.5mm hole to pass from the radial to ulnar side metacarpal using the 1.5mm tapered trocar tip Suture Passing Wire with loop.
- WT-Fix fixation button is used with this system for final fixation on the ulnar side of the index finger after the preloaded button is pulled from the radial side of the first metacarpal.
- This knotted system is ideal for the treatment of CMC Arthritis and/or CMC instability.
- The system requires a very small hole of 1.5mm to pass from radial to ulnar side metacarpal through the 1.5mm tapered trocar tip Suture Passing Wire with loop.
