Low Profile Anterior Cervical Cage

PALLAS Low Profile Anterior Cervical Cage is a stand-alone device for use in cervical inter-body fusion, designed to combine the functionality of a cervical inter-body cage with an anterior cervical plate.
The implant is designed to be contained within the excised disc space and does not protrude past the anterior wall of the vertebral body as do anterior cervical plates. In addition, preparation of the anterior surface of the vertebral body is limited because the implant does not lie against this surface.

Product Features:

  • The Pallas Low Profile Anterior Cervical Cage can be considered as a stand-alone implant having the functional features of both cervical interbody spacer and anterior cervical plate.
  • Stress in the plate is decoupled from the spacer by distributing the stress over the vertebra and reduces the stress concentration which leads to prevent implant failure or vertebra subsidence.
  • Superior and inferior teeth are provided to provide initial stability.
  • Trilobular thread-cutting flutes are provided for the self-centering of the screw.
  • The screw used with the cage is dual threaded that provides good engagement with bone and increases its strength.
