Dual Thread Screw

The Dual Thread Screw offers the opportunity to reduce overall metal mass and profile, and provide surgeon choice without compromising implant integrity.
Risks associated with these spinal implants include loosening, disassembly, bending and/or breakage of components.

Product Features:

  • The Obsteobone Dual threaded screw is designed with double thread, the upper thread is made finer to engage with bone more effectively and resist the backing out of screw. Similarly, the lower thread is made coarser to engage more with the pedicle and prevent the pull-out of the screw.
  • The screw tip is so optimized that it acts as both self-tapping and self-centering during the insertion.
  • Cannulation provided in the screw allows the injection of bone cement through it.
  • Fenestration provided at the distal tip offers controlled delivery of a small amount of bone cement into a targeted vertebral body.

Intended Use:

  • Degenerative Disc disease (DDD)
  • Spondylolisthesis
  • Deformities or curvature (Scoliosis, Kyphosis, Lordosis)
  • Trauma (Fracture or dislocation)
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Failed previous fusion
