Ajax Nailing
The AJAX Nailing System is an intramedullary implant designed for the treatment of unstable trochanteric femoral fractures. It offers the additional option of augmentation. The AJAX system is specifically designed to improve fracture management, particularly in the elderly. It allows for easy insertion, provides angular and rotational stability, and enables early weight bearing on the affected limb.
Product Features:
- The AJAX Nail accommodates both Cephalic Screws and AJAX Blades.
- The AJAX Nail has a medial-lateral angle of 6°, allowing for insertion at the tip of the greater trochanter.
- Static or dynamic locking can be performed using the aiming arm with the AJAX Nail. The AJAX Long variant additionally allows for secondary dynamization.
- The AJAX Blade provides rotational and angular stability with a single element.
- It features a large surface area and an increasing core diameter for maximum compaction and optimal hold in the bone.
- The AJAX Blade has a lateral locking mechanism.
